Fiona's story:

Dave was recommended to me by two friends, who both had driving lessons with him and who both passed first time. After only 19 hours of lessons spread over 12 weeks, Dave had taught me the skills needed and gave me the confidence to pass my driving test at my first attempt, with no minors. I did have reservations about taking my test after only 19 lessons, as I had lots of friends who, with different instructors, had failed two or three times after nine months of lessons. I am really grateful to Dave as he put a lot of effort into the lessons, ensuring that I always worked hard in order to get the most out of them. Apart from teaching me the skills to pass my driving test, Dave also taught me to be a safe driver and I feel relaxed and happy to drive by myself. Thank you very much, Dave.

Ben's story:

I had learnt to drive tractors long before my17th birthday. My mum thought it best if I had few lessons to learn the road rules. I was worried that the instructor would assume I knew nothing about driving and have to start from the beginning. When David arrived he asked a few questions and gave me the keys. I drove off with David keeping careful watch on what I was doing. At the end of the lesson he stressed that I must book the theory immediately. The lessons were structured around my ability and we spent a fair amount on the reversing. After I passed I took the pass plus course, I'm glad, I did motorways are much more difficult than I had ever imagined. Thanks for your hard work!

Claire's story:

I really enjoyed my driving lessons with David. In just over four months I took my test and passed first time. During the lessons we drove around the test route roads so I could familiarise myself with the area. The lessons followed a useful structure, which was built upon each time so you could see how you've improved and progressed between lessons. I enjoyed the time I spent learning with David, as he was very patient and remained calm if something went wrong. He is also very friendly and made me feel at ease in the car right from the start.

Sarah's Story:

I had previously learnt to drive when in was seventeen but had a few problems with the instructor so never took the test. When I restarted lessons fifteen years latter I was very apprehensive. My friend passed her test with David so she recommended I call him. On the first lesson he made my drive, looking back it wasn't too hard but at the time I was very scared! David encouraged me to take the theory test and then as I improved to book the driving test. David was very relaxed and although I had to work hard he made me believe in myself. He was always encouraging and managed to praise the smallest achievement. On the day of the test when David arrived I told him I was too scared to drive. He said to just calm down and drive just like I had done the previous lesson and I'd be fine. I passed first time. David was always calm but made the lessons fun. Thanks for your help
